Eufaula High School is a progressive institution that provides many academic, enrichment and technical opportunities for students while maintaining the values and traditions of the best in public schools.  Established in 1872, Eufaula City Schools holds the distinction of being the oldest city school district in Alabama and we are proudly accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

With an enrollment of 860 students in grades 9-12, EHS provides a comprehensive, student-centered curriculum that aspires to adequately prepare our young people for post-secondary institutions, military service, and the work force.  In addition to general, honors level, and advanced placement courses, EHS offers enrichment electives like Army JROTC and foreign language courses in Latin, French and Spanish.  Award winning programs (some international awards) in the career and technical field offer our students opportunities to explore career options early in their high school career.  Examples include:  Agriscience technology, health-science technology, marketing education, business education, engineering graphics and criminal justice.  Quality fine arts offerings and programs are abundant as well.  From the visual arts and drama departments to our award winning band and choral programs, the importance of providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience is evident.   The athletic field is no different.  Eufaula High School has one of the most comprehensive, competitive interscholastic sports programs in Alabama with teams in football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, cross country, track, golf, and cheerleading.
