Pre-K, Kindergarten, and HIPPY Registration 2015-2016
Children must be 4 years old (born on or before September 1, 2011) to register for Pre-K OR 5 years old (born on or before September 1, 2010) to register for Kindergarten and must be 3-5 years old (born on or before September 1, 2012) to register for HIPPY
*A child must be registered by a parent or legal guardian with a current photo ID. If a student has a legal guardian, proper legal guardianship paperwork must be furnished. Some family situations require that a child be placed with a legal guardian. If this is your child’s circumstance, as a guardian you will need to make an appointment to meet with either the principal or assistant principal before the registration process is complete.
Registration Begins March 9th and ends on March 27th *
8:30 AM-3:00 PM Monday-Thursday & 8:30 AM-12:00 on Friday
at *Eufaula Primary School,
520 Pump Station Rd, Eufaula, AL
The following documents are required for registration to be complete:
__Age verification documentation, ie, birth certificate or suitable alternative __Social Security number (voluntary only) __Photo ID (for parent/legal guardian)
__Current Alabama Blue Immunization Form
__Proof of Residency (Most current Utility Bill (power or water) in name of parent/guardian or other Acceptable Documentation)
__*Legal guardianship paperwork if registered by legal guardian
Note: If your child is already attending our Eufaula Primary School’s Pre-K Program you DO NOT need to register for kindergarten.
They will automatically be enrolled in EPS Kindergarten; however, updated immunization slips will be required.
All Kindergarten children are accepted for enrollment.
Pre-K students are selected for our program using a lottery system. The lottery will be held at Central Office on May 1st. Only complete registrations will be in the lottery.
**June & July registration at EPS Office Mon-Thurs from 8:30 AM- 3:30 PM**

EHS and AMMS Parents: EHS will host Lonnie Correll, Russell Johnson and Debbie Breedlove on March 9th (repeat of February 26th workshop) in the EHS multipurpose room. Lonnie Correll and Russell Johnson, from 123 College, will be talking to parents about a way to begin saving for students to attend college. Debbie Breedlove, Wallace Community College Dual Enrollment Coordinator, will be talking to parents about dual enrollment opportunities and the $10M bond funds the state is providing for students to enroll in Career Tech Education programs. All interested parents and students are encouraged to attend. The session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and should conclude by 6:45 p.m. (For AMMS and EHS parents in attendance, their child/children will be eligible for a chance to win a $500 scholarship!)
Superintendent Parent Advisory Meetings will be held on March 9th and April 13th at 5:30 p.m. at Central Office (333 State Docks Road). All parents are invited. We hope to see you there.
